Phoenix

UAVs are highly mobile and can reach any location without the need of ground infrastructure, making them a prime candidate for emergency aid. The Institution of Mechanical Engineers hosts a competition to encourage the further innovation in this field of technology. DroneTeam Twente has developed the drone Phoenix for the 2021 UAS Challenge, which won the Most Promising award.

DroneTeam Twente is currently looking for and collaborating with partners to use our knowledge and drones for humantarian aid missions. As part of the UAS Challenge Phoenix can provide disaster relief in remote areas, and we are open to collaborating with local partners to apply our knowledge.
